speed, 70-80% of the Energy consumption of a vehicle goes towards air resistance.
This energy cannot be recovered. The remaining factors share small proportions.
At speed in urban areas or on dirt roads, the proportion of air resistance
drops to 10-20%, but the factors of mass inertia (braking, accelerating) and
gravity (mastering gradients) have a large proportion. An electric vehicle has
the possibility of recovering part of this energy, which is why this is where
the greatest efficiency advantages lie.
